This honor box turned flower planter came from a project/contest to redesign a newspaper box for City Paper. My partner, Shannon Malone, and I decided to make use of the empty space at the bottom of the box by turning it on its side and transforming it into a planter. City Paper did not keep word on funding and implementing them in Philadelphia for at least Design Philly 2008. So the box does not bare any logo and will serve its purpose as is.
